I recently read an article on Elle.com that was titled, "36 Times Emma Watson's Style Was Flawless", in honor of her 25th birthday today. Emma Watson has so much class and style, and she seems wise beyond her years. I admire her for all of her advocating for women's rights and feminism. In honor of Emma Watson and her incredible style, here are my five favorite looks from the article.
Emma wore this look to the Late Show with David Letterman in 2012 and paired it with Tom Ford wedges. I love how it is so simple, but stunning. I would have loved to have seen her wear a black pantsuit instead, but you can hardly tell the difference. The white jacket adds the perfect amount of contrast to the look and really makes her stand out. With the black shirt and pants, The white doesn't wash out her skin as much. The wedges look perfect, and I love her hair. Growing out hair can go through awkward phases, but not for Emma!
Emma wore this black Rafael Lopez dress to the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows premiere in 2010. When I first saw this photo, I thought she was Ginnifer Goodwin! They both had the same hairstyle and similar facial features! I love how the dress is form fitting to the hips and feathery at the bottom for a little flare. The lace pattern is also gorgeous. I admired Emma's bravery so much when she got her pixie haircut. She wasn't able to change her hair for years due to the films, so when she could, she changed it in the most dramatic way possible and looked flawless doing so.
No one can pull off a suit better than Emma. She paired this Saint Laurent suit with Christian Louboutin heels, Reese Hudson clutch, and Sabine G rings while arriving at the Late Show with David Letterman in 2014. I would have loved to see her in a more form fitting jacket, but she looks gorgeous either way. The heels go so well with the suit and I love her classic makeup look.
My all time favorite look from Emma Watson?
At the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards in 2014, Emma wore this stunning Dior Couture dress and pants with Roger Vivier shoes and Dior earrings. When I was watching the red carpet live, I thought that she was just wearing the dress. When I saw pictures of her later, I realized that the whole back of the dress was open, and she was wearing pants too! Who would have ever thought to make a dress like this? At first, I wasn't sure that I liked it, but every time I see a photo, she looks stunning. Red is definitely Emma's color.
Who would have thought Emma Watson would turn out to be the fashion icon she is today?
